Job Description
Credit Controller
1. Coordinating the debts of existing creditors
2. Managing all billing transactions
3. Ensuring all transactions are processed promptly
4. Processing invoices and reconciling finance accounts
5. Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
6. Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
7. Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
8. Conducting credit checks on all customers, set and manage credit limits
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
1. A strong understanding of the principles of accounting
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
3. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
4. Good understanding of relevant legal obligations
5. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
