A bespoke service offering partnering with global cyber security providers to help solve real industry issues via intimate closed door events…and thats just the beginning.
We are looking for a Head of Events to help promote and coordinate these get togethers whilst managing our community of attendee’s. With a strong level of interest from customers in 2025, this role will require someone to come in and hit the ground running. It will fall to this individual to build communities of executives to attend these events.
Trident Events, shall be growing quickly and aggressively and we need someone who can handle a fast past environment, is able to plan for the future, whilst bringing fresh ideas to the table for future events.
Key Responsibilities
Event Sales and Coordination
* Sell event sponsorships and participation opportunities to vendors, MSSPs, and other clients.
* Develop tailored proposals and presentations to attract sponsors and buyers.
* Manage end-to-end logistics for events, including venue selection, scheduling, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
Community Building
* Foster relationships with CISOs and senior decision-makers, ensuring their active participation in our events.
* Build and maintain and leverage an existing database of key cyber security stakeholders.
* Engage with attendees before, during, and after events to encourage ongoing collaboration and feedback.
Market Research and Strategy
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging topics within the cyber security space to ensure event relevance.
* Work closely with internal teams to identify target audiences and tailor event themes to client needs.
* Analyze event performance and report on ROI, attendee feedback, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration
* Partner with Trident Search’s sales and marketing teams to develop cohesive strategies for event promotion.
* Coordinate with external suppliers and partners to ensure seamless event delivery.
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in event management and sales, preferably within the cyber security or technology sectors.
* Strong ability to engage and build relationships with senior-level decision-makers, such as CISOs and IT leaders.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in using CRM tools and event management software.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
