An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Midwife to become part of the Dingwall Community Midwifery Team. This team is based at Ross Lodge, Ross Memorial Hospital, Dingwall Health Centre and covers the Dingwall, Black Isle and Beauly caseloads. We look after approximately 300 women per year. There may be occasions when the post holder may work within the other teams in Inner Moray Firth. The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, be a good team player and have excellent time management skills. Community experience is desirable but not essential and is suitable for Band 6 Registered Midwife to apply.
This post is 22.2 hours per week permanent to meet the needs of the service.
There is an on call commitment required for the provision of a Home Birth/Domino service within the Inner Moray Firth community midwifery teams.
A Full / current driving licence and use of own car is essential for this post.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
