Job: Vehicle Technician (ELV) Operative.
Location : Aldershot.
Pay: £13.99
The Best Connection Employment Group are looking for a Vehicle Technician (ELV) Operative in Aldershot. You will be making sure all non-ferrous metals are processed efficiently.
Hours of work:
* Monday to Friday- 07:00am-17:00pm
May be required to work on a Saturday morning to meet the requirements of the business.
* Saturday hours - 07:30am-12:00pm
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to efficient running of operation.
* Assist in scheduling of inward and outward transport.
* Liaise with any customers, drivers and contractors that visit site.
* Make sure all vehicles are unloaded and stored in a safe manner especially when using forklift.
* Ensure all tyres, materials, wheels and batteries are removed before de-pollution.
* Make sure all working areas are kept tidy and clean, ensuring rig, tools are all kept clean and put away safely.
* Ensure all vehicles details are accurately recorded through de-pollution activities.
* Complete daily checks and month end requirements accurately.
Skills/requirements:
* Self-motivated, adaptable and flexible.
* High level of organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure when in high demand.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications/certificates:
* Full driving license is necessary due to area of job role and to be able to travel to other sites when necessary.
* Previous experience working in a similar heavy industry.
* FLT licence would be a big advantage but isn't necessary.
* MSH licence would be an advantage but isn't necessary.
