Hours: 39 hours per week (8:00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday; 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday)

This role will help us to do this by providing a professional multi-skilled joinery service, delivering an excellent customer experience. This will be achieved by adhering to health and regulations, as well as organisational policies and procedures.
Multi-skilled Joiners will have a core trade in either Plastering or Joinery with experience of all trades to ensure a ‘first time fix’.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Carrying out all aspects of joinery and multi-skilled works to customers’ homes and empty properties.
2. Carrying out various multi-skilled works as required by the role (e.g. tiling, patch plastering and minor plumbing).
3. Diagnosing and prioritising specific work activities and tasks and use experience of working across all trades within the domestic sector.
4. Achieve a ‘first time fix’ through correct diagnosis, multi-trade working and an effective relationship with the supply chain.
5. Deliver an excellent customer experience by understanding the different needs of our customers and tailoring your approach. Be easy to deal with and do what you say you will.
6. Update your PDA in real time on a job’s status and communicate with planners if customers are not at home or jobs are not viable.
We need people who have:
1. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery/Carpentry.
2. Experience of undertaking multi-skilled joinery work.
3. Experience in a similar role, working across all trades within the domestic sector.
4. Sound building, construction, General maintenance / repair knowledge.
5. Experience of diagnosing and prioritising specific work activities.
6. Experience working with IT systems (email, word and excel).
7. Full valid driving licence.

Every year we spend around £7 million repairing and maintaining our customers’ homes, carry out 20,000 repairs, complete 5,500 gas services, turnaround 350 empty homes so they are in a good condition to re-let, and support some amazing community projects and charities, by putting our trades skills to great use.
