Our client is looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Senior Engineer to join their team of Structural and Civil Engineering professionals in their Nottingham office. You will be working within a highly respected team on a wide range of high-profile, technically demanding and award-winning building projects in the Midlands. Their office is based in the centre of Nottingham and is delivering many of the largest and most high-profile projects in the region.

Day to day, you will take the lead on projects, work independently, and collaborate with the wider team when required. This will include delegating work and mentoring junior engineers and technicians. You will coach individuals one-to-one to help them achieve their development goals while supporting a team to work effectively and focus on their development. You will also be responsible for assisting in the management of a team of engineers and technicians of varying experience, including planning and managing resources, finances, and quality control requirements.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Structural Engineer with over five years' experience, who is Chartered or near to becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer, with experience of working on a mixed variety of developments using a number of materials.
You should have experience of using a range of analysis and design software, including Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, ETABS, SAFE (or equivalent), and be able to clearly articulate ideas, opinions, and thoughts to engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, many of whom may not have a technical background.

They are known for their award-winning training and development, having received the "excellence in L&D" award by Construction News. They trust their people and give everyone the opportunity to develop with the right balance of challenge and support.
They are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, enjoys a challenge and problem-solving, and is passionate about engineering and the built environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an Engineering Consultancy that values its staff and offers excellent career development opportunities.
