Job Description:
Birmingham LGBT is recruiting to the post of LBTQ Women’s Outreach Worker to join our substance support team to engage with and support LBTQ women in Birmingham.
The successful applicant will join a motivated and enthusiastic team based at the Birmingham LGBT Centre in Central Birmingham and will provide substance support services from the centre and in off-site outreach locations. The role involves identifying, engaging with, and supporting individuals with substance misuse issues to reduce the incidence of poor health among Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, and Queer (LBTQ) women in Birmingham.
Accountable to: Lead Development Officer, Substance Support Service.
Terms:
* £24,666 per annum (pro rata) – 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions)
* Working on a rota basis including evening and weekend work and some travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.
* 25 days annual leave per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
* Permanent contract.
