A Vacancy at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for highly motivated and organised Health Care Assistant with a passion for high quality patient care and experience to work at the Salford Royal Outpatient Hub located at the Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre.
Salford Royal provides neurology services to the patients of Greater Manchester. We will be running outpatient services from the spacious and modern facility located in Altrincham.
You will be a motivated team player with a flexible attitude and be able to demonstrate commitment to your own professional development. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role.
Your role will include :
*The ability to organise your own workload
*Greet and sign post patients
* Ability to perform ECG and perform venepuncture
*Ability to support patients and clinicians with the movement of patients for examination
*Ability to recognise clinical signs of an unwell patient and request a medical review
*Ability to book patient appointments via Patient Centre
*Ability to evaluate and document each patient visit via their Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
*Ability to work closely with the medical team regarding planning and evaluating patients
You will be required to work over 5 days ideally.
