Due to the continued growth within the business and internal progression, an opening for a Planning Manager has come up with a highly forward-thinking organisation.
The Planning Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the growing Planning Department.
You will be guiding the team to manage the production schedule, whilst maintain a customer focused approach liaising with a wide portfolio of clients and mitigating any supplier risks where possible.
The organisation is growing across all areas of manufacturing, and the supply chain team is at the heart of the business.
The manufacturing processes are complex with a high volume of SKU’s and a diverse customer base and will therefore suit an experienced manager that has exposure to working in a volume food manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities: People Management – growing and developing the department through effective coaching and mentoring whilst developing a positive working culture.
Inventory Management – ensure stock levels are sustainable and ordering new material / stock when necessary.
Production Planning – lead and guide the team to ensure production schedules are met.
Stakeholder management – ensuring SLAs are met across the client base.
Continuous Improvement – implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall supply chain performance.

Requirements: Planning / Supply chain experience in a food manufacturing setting Leadership Experience – you will be overseeing a highly competent team that is ambitious and will need to display strong leadership traits to further develop the department.
