This is a hybrid position. Mainly based at home but there is an expectation for the worker to be in the office at least once a month.

The team works with children and young people in care proceedings following the making of an Interim Care Order through to the conclusion of the proceedings. The children and young people then transfer into a Child in Care Team unless they have a plan of adoption. If a plan of adoption is the outcome of proceedings, the Achieving Permanence Team will work with Adoption Connects to identify an adoptive home and then support the child until an Adoption Order is made.
The main areas of responsibility are:
1. Completion of Court assessments and statements
2. Representing the Local Authority in Court
3. Supporting Children in Care and observing statutory duties
4. Visiting Children in Care - some are not based in Central Beds so having a car and being able to drive is essential
