Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager or a strong Assistant/Deputy Manager looking for the next step to oversee the daily operations of our establishment cafe bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires excellent team management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. We are looking for a manager that wants to make a difference in what we do, full of ideas and wants to push our business forwards.
Duties
* Lead and manage all aspects of the establishment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
* Oversee food production processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
* Foster a positive work environment by providing support and guidance to team members.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient operations.
* Develop and implement training programmes for staff in areas such as food preparation, hospitality, and customer service.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
* Collaborate with bartending staff to create an appealing beverage menu that complements the dining experience.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
