Primary School, Intervention Support
Full or Part Time Roles within a Primary School in Manchester offering extra support to pupils.
Teaching Personnel are working with a Manchester Primary School who offer excellent support to teachers and pupils and are therefore looking for an individual who holds a nurturing and understanding personality, with an ability to form strong relationships with children and/or young people to join their team as Intervention Support. This school holds an Ofsted rating of “GOOD.” This role would be fit for an individual who already has some knowledge working with children/young people and is looking to make a difference and further offer support to children who may require extra support within school whether this be due to a SEND requirement, from a disadvantaged background or a pupil that just requires that little extra support from an understanding adult. You would be working 1:1 or within small groups, offering extra support with their school work or just be there to have a chat! This school follows an ethos of supporting children to be: “safe, happy, polite, confident, creative and unique,” which should be something you can support the pupils and school with! Within this role you would be supported by the Senior Leadership team and the school SENCO.
Role Requirements:
* Have experience working with children and/or young people.
* A nurturing and understanding personality, with the ability to form strong relationships with children and young people.
* Be confident to support pupils with KS1 – KS2 work.
* Experience working with children with SEND is desirable and would benefit you well.
* Be able to commute to Manchester.
If you are looking to build your experience working with children, then apply and attach your CV!
