Description
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Cloud Architect based at our Knutsford, Cheshire office. As Custodia Technology experiences rapid growth, we are seeking a Cloud Architect who will play a pivotal role in designing and managing our SaaS service cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.
2. Develop and execute a cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
3. Evaluate and integrate appropriate cloud services and technologies.
4. Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and cost management.
5. Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for the cloud environment.
6. Stay updated on cloud trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or related roles.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure or AWS, Google Cloud).
4. Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
5. Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Core Competency Requirements
1. Experience with SaaS service architecture and design.
2. Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
6. Ability to document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £80,000.00 per year
