Print Operator - Small Format
Salary: £28 - £30k

The ideal candidate would be someone that has extensive experience of operating a wide range of small format printing machines & finishing equipment along with Rip Software.
The Digital Press Print Operator is a crucial part of the production team, needing to work in conjunction with pre-press and finishing to ensure a high-quality and efficient workflow.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Running Ricoh Digital Press Ricoh Pro C7110SX or similar
2. Running multiple small format finish machines to maximise output
3. Good knowledge of colour matching within Rip Software
4. Liaising with machine engineers to ensure the highest quality output
5. Ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality
6. Knowledge of media & substrates
7. Working with suppliers / suggesting suitable alternatives
8. Liaising among different departments e.g. creative and account management
9. Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
10. Stock control

Requirements:
1. Experience of operating RIP software
2. Experience of working on Ricoh Pro C7110SX or similar
3. Working knowledge of files: Layers/ Cutting paths/ White print / Colour correction
4. Previous machinery & equipment knowledge essential
5. Previous finishing equipment knowledge essential
6. Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite
7. Being positive and motivational at work
8. Professionalism and punctuality
9. Forward-thinking and always looking for ways to utilise new technology & innovative materials
10. Previous experience in a digital print production environment
