Connectivity Specialist (6-Month Contract)
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working/Remote options considered)

Salary: Up to £46,000 pro rata per annum
Role Overview:
The Connectivity Specialist will support and maintain network infrastructure in partnership with our global vendor. They will ensure the continuous operation of the infrastructure, providing hands-on support for daily business-as-usual activities.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
* Managing local and wide area networks, Wi-Fi and internet services, while adhering to best practices
* Hands-on work with Cisco switches and Meraki Wi-Fi systems
* Management and support of site-specific connectivity and infrastructure technology with a focus on delivery and daily operations
* End to end management of service tickets, including updating, prioritising and categorisation
* Acting as the technical lead for Infrastructure & Operations major incidents and completing RCAs
* Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly maintenance checks are completed
Your previous experience is likely to include…
* Working within Infrastructure & Operations, or a similar operational team
* Updating and maintaining policies, standards and procedures
* Working with networks, servers, Active Directory, troubleshooting and maintenance of an IT infrastructure
* Working knowledge of network protocols, standards and security practices
* Working knowledge of SDWAN, Cisco and Meraki products
To be successful in this role you will…
* Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
* Be an excellent communicator and show strong problem-solving skills
* Possess relevant qualifications in IT, CCNA, CCNP, ComTIA A++
* Possess knowledge of Enterprise Endpoint security, encryption, hardening protection and patching
* Provide out-of-hours support and participate in 24x7 on-call rotas, if required
