Our client, a leading organisation in the field, is seeking an Office Assistant to join their team on a 12-month contract covering maternity leave.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing a safe and efficient working environment for their employees.

Duration: 12 months maternity cover
Location: Shirley B90
Pay Rate: £15.59 - £18.19 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week - work from home on Fridays!Duties Include:
Create a weekly newsletter by gathering relevant information and ensure its circulation every Monday.
Manage security clearances for new starters and ongoing re-validations.
Coordinate visitor bookings and room reservations for meetings.
Develop and implement a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) calendar, as well as plan and organise corresponding events throughout the year.
Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment when needed.
Liaise with contractors for equipment repairs.
Obtain quotes and raise relevant documentation for site maintenance.
Keep track of expenditure throughout the year.
Arrange travel bookings and transfers for the team.
Ensure site boards, screens, and welcome signs are up to date.
Attend EH&S monthly meetings, take minutes, and circulate them in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety policies.Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organisational skills to handle tasks efficiently and calmly.
Proven ability to build relationships and effectively support all functions of the business.
Results-oriented with excellent attention to detail and efficiency.
Effective communication skills at all levels.
