Job summary We are excited to be recruiting for a Deputy Designate for Children Safeguarding Children and Children and Young People in Care (CYPIC) to work within our all-age safeguarding team. The post holder will be a qualified health practitioner with prior experience as a named professional for safeguarding in a provider trust. The post holder will work with the Senior Safeguarding Lead and Designated Nurse for Children and Young People in Care (CYPIC) to ensure processes are in place to protect children from abuse; recognising specific vulnerabilities and to identify, escalate and take actions when risks are identified using knowledge across a wide range of practice and work environments. Main duties of the job The post holder is responsible for strategically supporting the safeguarding children portfolios and also the young people in care portfolio across Frimley ICB. Linked to continuous workforce development and transformation the post holder will provide expertise to the outcome of the business processes for the Safeguarding Directorate.
