At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to support vulnerable children in primary schools across Lancaster and Morecambe. As a Youth Worker, you will:
* Work closely with children who may face challenges such as social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
* Provide tailored support, helping them build confidence, improve their behavior, and develop essential life skills.
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
* Be a positive role model, encouraging personal growth, resilience, and well-being.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting.
* A genuine passion for helping children and supporting their development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, especially when working with vulnerable children.
* A DBS check (or willingness to apply for one) and any relevant qualifications would be an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
