We are looking for an Assistant Catering Manager to assist and deputise for the Catering Manager in the efficient running of the Riverside Café, Green room, and support the seasonal summer activity on the external Terraces. This role includes running a shift with the support of Supervisors.
Reporting to the Catering Manager, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):
* Collaborating with Catering Managers to deliver a high-quality food and beverage offering across our venues.
* Overseeing the green room and ensure standards are monitored.
* Coaching, training and developing staff to deliver service in line with agreed standards.
* running daily staff briefings to cover the daily menu, offers or service changes and for information sharing.
* Supervising staff and the day to day offer in the green room and oversee and support where necessary.
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:
* Confident and articulate with a positive outlook.
* An exceptional understanding of drinks and the service of alcohol.
* Good leadership skills and the ability to drive a busy team in a varied, high sales turnover, environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent relationship skills to build strong links both inside and outside the Company.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role will involve 40 hours per week, working shifts (including evenings and weekends), 5 days over 7 with 2 days off per week.
