Job summary Are you an experienced secretary / administrator looking for a new challenge? You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, be approachable, positive and reliable whilst working effectively as part of a team, sharing information and resources. You will need advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and keyboard skills, including the ability to demonstrate fast and accurate typing. Previous secretarial experience in a primary care setting would be advantageous but is not essential. We will also have the occasional need for you to cover holidays and other staff absences. Main duties of the job Working within our busy secretarial team, you will contribute to our efficient and professional secretarial service. Duties will include managing e-referrals, processing system related tasks and liaising on the telephone with patients, hospitals and a range of healthcare professionals as well as some audio and copy typing of correspondence and reports.
