We are looking for a committed and energetic individual to join our team as a Band 3 Physiotherapy Clinical Support Worker in the newly commissioned ward Emergency Medicine Receiving Unit EMRU at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This role will suit someone who is motivated, compassionate, and keen to support patients to achieve their potential, in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience of working as a physiotherapy assistant is desirable. Having good communication and team-working skills is essential. The post involves weekend working as part of the therapy weekend service.
To support qualified Physiotherapy (PT) staff by implementing and undertaking designated patient assessment and treatment programmes.
To document, evaluate and feedback to qualified PT following all interventions
To support the Physiotherapy team in non-clinical tasks.
To participate in the seven day therapy service
