EC&I Engineer Location: Leicester Overview: Our client, a leader in electrification systems, is seeking a talented EC&I Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Develop software primarily using LabVIEW and National Instruments TestStand for new test equipment and data acquisition systems. Design the overall architecture of applications, ensuring maintainability and efficiency. Support existing NI/LabVIEW systems through maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis, and upgrades. Collaborate with various teams to produce requirements and system documentation. Perform Factory Acceptance Testing and commissioning work following quality procedures. Essential Skills: MUST be a UK National Demonstrable experience in software design within the Test & Measurement industry, particularly in high-speed real-time applications. Proficiency in LabVIEW (CLD minimum desirable) and National Instruments TestStand. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of electrical circuit operation/design. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications: Degree or HND in Electrical/Software Engineering or a related discipline. Experience with the software design process from development through to validation and support. Must be a sole national British citizen with a valid UK passport and full UK driving licence.
