McLoughlin Decorating are looking for an experienced driver, with a can-do hands-on approach to work, to join their successful team. Duties will include but not be limited to: - Delivery of materials/sundries/small items to site in and around London and Home Counties Site Clearances Moving heavy plant such as ladders to different locations and other pieces of equipment Delivery of workwear and PPE to site Collections from stores Collection and delivery of company paperwork to site locations Other ad-hoc duties Must be familiar and confident with various phone apps Must be able to follow processes Typical hours are 7am - 5pm - however this can vary depending on business requirements. You will report to our Enfield office every morning to collect a van list detailing your duties for the day, and will be expected to collect plant and PPE from our nearby depot. You must be able to work on your own initiative and plan your day to a certain degree taking into consideration route planning to make the most effective use of your time, this could sometimes mean driving between different counties in one day. You will be issued with a company vehicle which you will be responsible for and must complete daily vehicle checks each morning. You will also be issued a mobile phone to enable certain apps to be used when delivering PPE and workwear to site. For the purpose of company vehicle insurance, you must be 25 or over and hold a clean drivers’ licence for 3 years.
