CNC Miller
£30,610 per annum or £15.91 per hour, plus overtime, Permanent, Keynsham BS31, 33 days holiday, working Monday to Friday 37 hour week, core hours 7.30 - 15.30, early finish Friday, pension, parking.
Our client is an established and highly respected manufacturer who operates a friendly team of engineers and has an opportunity to work in a temporary contract as a cnc miller or cnc machinist where you will manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor.
The cnc miller role involves:
CNC Miller
Occasional Manual milling (not essential)
Working on Milling machines with Heidenhain controls
Machining precision parts and components
Producing one off's and small batches.
Reading engineering drawings
Working to non-aerospace tolerances
Install programs including keying from a drawing and downloading from databases, setting and operating as required
Select appropriate materials for each job as described in the drawings
Self inspect components and report any manufacturing errors to line manager so corrective action can be agreed.
