Job Description Head of Risk The Head of Risk is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and implementing the client’s risk management strategy and framework to align with business objectives. This position requires close collaboration with experts across various functions to identify, assess, and mitigate a wide range of legal, financial, market, and strategic risks, fostering a culture of risk awareness in decision-making. The role also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while promoting a risk-savvy approach throughout the organization. You will work alongside senior management, the Audit and Risk Committee, and both internal and external auditors to define and refine the company’s risk appetite, enabling competitiveness in key markets while maintaining risks within acceptable limits. In partnership with the Commercial and Finance teams, you will govern and control energy, financial, and commodity risks, including open exposures, power sales, energy prices, trading, hedging activities, interest rates, foreign exchange, liquidity, and credit risks.
