Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Stirling, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst on a permanent basis on a rate of £44,617/annum. This role will have flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyse and understand a business problem or opportunity
2. Undertake research and analysis to understand how a business or business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology
3. Identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyse the effects of change and define success measures
4. Identify and elaborate user and business needs to enable effective design, development and testing of services and business change
5. Make decisions related to prioritisation and minimum viable product by using analysis led insights
6. Ensure new products and services meet business and user needs, and are aligned with organisational goals
7. Understand any business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
2. A solid track record of business analysis in a digital/ICT project environment, where you have applied business analysis techniques to identify, investigate and communicate complex problems and opportunities to a wide range of stakeholders.
3. Post Graduate Degree in relevant Discipline
4. Corporate Membership of approved body
5. People supervisory experience
6. Budgetary management experience

7. Requirements definition and management: You can advise on the approach to requirements management within a project or programme.
8. Stakeholder relationship management: You can lead on communicating with stakeholders, clarifying needs and commitments through consultation.
9. Systems analysis: You can lead the identification and analysis of IT system capabilities, developing models and system requirements.
10. User experience analysis: You can advise on the approach to analysis, prioritisation and validation of user experience needs.
