We are looking for an experienced Security Operations Centre Manager for our corporate client, based in Abingdon. You'll be supporting the client's global security team, contribute to and support the international business implementing effective global security programs to mitigate risk, safeguard the organization's employees, intellectual property, integrity, reputation, and physical assets. This is a Global role with duties across multiple countries and continents. Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri Location: Abingdon, OX14 Your Time at Work - Lead a team of 8 Security Operations Centre Operators/Officers in our ESOC (European Security Operations Centre) - Oversee the continuous monitoring of the client's network of international offices. Ensuring effective security monitoring and incident response. - Working in coordination with the GSOC (Global Security Operations Centre) in the management and response to incidents and alarms - Monitoring of security systems internationally and coordinating service and maintenance schedules with contract service providers. - Working directly with the client's network of international offices on daily access management requirements. - Emergency Point of contact for the client's international employees - Directing clients to services. - Lead the operational management, training, and development of the security team. - Management of all necessary reporting and data management for the client. (KPI's, QBR's) - Review and development of ESOC duties, ensuring performance is meeting agreed KPI's. - Responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing all site security and SOC policies, procedures and standards along with the collation of associated evidence needed for compliance audits. Our Perfect Worker - Proven experience of leading and managing a security operation. - A recognised industry standard qualification/certification - CPP, CSPM, etc or equivalent work experience. - Risk Management and Incident Management skills. - Strong leadership, team building, collaborative and process-management skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to exchange complex information with others. - Demonstrate creative mental agility, critical thinking, and inductive and deductive reasoning to solve problems, make decisions, and implement effective solutions with limited input. - Ability to understand customer needs and to work effectively with key stakeholders. - Willingness and appetite to develop your industry knowledge and continuous professional development.
