About The Role Location: Mobile NI - North West Region - Dungannon and Cookstown Area Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent Reporting To: Contracts Manager Job Start Date : 1st December 2024 Job Summary GRAHAM, a leading Total FM provider in the UK, is seeking a skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team. We are excited to announce a new contract with Northern Ireland Water to deliver Facilities Management, Maintenance Services, and Minor Project Works across the extensive North-West region. This contract will focus on reactive repairs, planned maintenance, project works, and supporting the development of NI Water’s future facilities management strategy. If you are an experienced Water Hygiene Technician with a drive for success and the ability to handle minor remedials, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Conduct monitoring inspections including temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold and hot water storage tanks, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, and logbook auditing. Implement and manage water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in compliance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274. Use a PDA and web-based electronic logbook system for inspections. Perform other water hygiene-related tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, and remediation works. Travel across multiple sites within the North-West region. Opportunity to work overtime. About You Essential Criteria: Relevant experience in a similar role. Current Full UK Driver’s Licence. Desirable Criteria Experience in water system remediation/maintenance works. City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training. Plumbing qualification (C&G Level 1, 2, or above). Knowledge of legislation and guidance (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations). Experience in the maintenance, servicing, and testing of Chemical Water Treatment services Please note that Applicants will not be expected to meet any (or all) of the desirable criteria to be considered for interview.
