Delva Patman Redler are renowned specialists in Party Wall, Rights of Light, Daylight/Sunlight and neighbour disputes. We have a wide ranging and diverse client base which will be able support the growth of the new service line in the Southwest, but the candidate will be expected to help develop our existing portfolio of clients, help create new relationships and bring new clients into the business. The client facing role provides an excellent opportunity for the ideal candidate to develop their own team within our Bristol office supporting the expansion of the company across the Southwest and nationwide. The role will include the responsibility for providing expert advice and technical support on a wide range of building surveying matters. Working closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, maintenance programs, and property management initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conducting detailed building surveys, inspections, and assessments to identify defects, deficiencies, and potential risks. Preparing comprehensive reports, schedules of condition, specifications and maintenance programs. Providing expert advice and guidance on building regulations, planning permissions, and statutory compliance requirements. Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions to building-related issues. Undertaking feasibility studies, condition assessments, and due diligence investigations. Managing projects from inception to completion, including contract administration, budget monitoring, and quality control. Conducting dilapidations assessments, negotiations, and settlements on behalf of landlords and tenants. Keeping abreast of industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance service delivery. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners to drive business growth and client retention. Mentoring, providing technical guidance, and promoting continuous professional development within the team.
