The Role To provide operational support to the Clinical Director of NHS Lanarkshire’s Public Dental Service by developing new and maintaining/ improving existing systems; recording and reporting systems and initiating appropriate actions to ensure the delivery of high quality patient services for the Public Dental Service across Lanarkshire. It would be great if you also have Educated to Diploma Level or relevant experience Educated to a Degree level Willing to undertake any training that may be necessary to carry out the work effectively and efficiently Additional qualifications in using IT systems Previous ICT support experience within an NHS environment including use of systems eg. HIC Working with computerised clinical & practice management software, experience of CS R4 Clinical Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office based products Knowledge of current legislation, guidelines and policies relevant to role eg. GDPR Knowledge and understanding of both ICT Desktop Hardware and Software Knowledge of the variety of patient groups and environments involved in Public Dental Service delivery eg. Education, nursery, schools, NHS Proven ability as an effective communicator through a range of mediums Contract type Permanent Part Time 30 hours Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
