We are one of the country’s largest, private commercial property developers, seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Assistant to join our regional commercial leasing team.

This exciting role will initially focus on our Stockport and Cheadle property portfolio, spanning over 15 buildings. You will work between our head office in Alderley Edge and site locations in Stockport, Cheadle, and the South Manchester region. In the role, you will report to the Head of Region for South and Central Manchester, working alongside both a head office team and a remote team based at Regent House.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage office lettings.
* Handle and track enquiries, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
* Organize and conduct property viewings for prospective tenants.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and rental rates.
* Identify opportunities for property improvements, including potential refurbishment projects.
* Update cost schedules and marketing materials.
* Coordinate website, signage, and plan updates with the admin team.
* Maintain soft engagement with both new and existing clients to nurture relationships.
* Monitor the presentation of properties and identify maintenance needs across a portfolio.
* Collaborate with Facilities and Property Management teams to address any issues.
* Engage with commercial property agents and attend relevant meetings.
* Attend events and networking opportunities, including those outside regular working hours.
Key Requirements:
* Full clean driving license, as regular travel is required.
* Confidence in engaging with new people and potential clients.
* Experience in commercial property is beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided. A background in residential, hospitality, or customer service is also desirable.
* Strong ability to build rapport and develop relationships with individuals.
* Open, honest communication style with a focus on delivering the best experience for clients and the company.
* Proficient in working with figures, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
* Ability to manage and maintain a diary of appointments and interactions, recording details on a central database.
* Flexible and adaptable attitude to work.
What we offer:
* A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
