Interview process: Two Stage Interview Process
Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to be flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.
The recipe!
The purpose of this role is to leverage insights to uncover valuable opportunities, guide strategic decision-making, and formulate effective brand strategies that fuel business growth. Ensuring that Weetabix stays ahead of the curve by consistently introducing product upgrades and innovations that boost profitability and scale.
The role demands determination, resilience, persistence, and a steadfast dedication to overcoming challenges.
* Ensuring we remain fit for the future through scanning, appraising, and anticipating evolving consumer trends.
* Continual monitoring of challenger brands that may hold promise for us in proposition and positioning.
* Ensuring all innovation is consumer-centric, meets the needs of our customers, and delivers for the business.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams including finance, brand, operations, procurement, category, commercial, and technical to drive innovation projects through the stage gate.
* Research project lead and responsibility for innovation development - from idea to implementation.
CDP Delivery (Concept Development Paper)
* Collate all relevant insights and market data into topline consumer opportunity.
* Align with category and brand on the triple win opportunity.
* Ensure concept has been validated and relative learnings and optimisation captured (Kantar).
* Liaise with key teams, including Tech NPD, and collate topline timings, risks & challenges.
* Stakeholdering and approval at ISG.
PIP (Project Initiation Paper)
* Collate P&L assumptions (volume (IVY), pricing, promo plan, pcos, launch timings etc.) and align with relevant teams (category, rev man, tech NPD, and Ops finance).
* Develop P&L scenarios with finance.
* Detailed timeline & resource requirements scoped (IPM to support).
* Stakeholdering and approval at ISG.
FTR (Factory Trial Request)
* Begin commercial meetings and build robust launch plans by account.
* Support IPM at ISG for approval.
BP (Business Plan)
* Final launch plan thinking including learnings from CLT/HUT.
* Detailed assumptions by account (ROS/dist/launch date/Promo).
* Final P&L.
* Final launch timeline.
Requirements
Non-negotiables:
* How to get to great ideas - knowledge of different approaches to concept development.
* Strong influencer - ability to form teams cross-functionally.
* Effective communicator who can articulate clearly and succinctly at all levels across the business.
* Differences between, and when to use, qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
* Alignment to Weetabix values.
* Always curious to finding new ways to do business!
* Ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise.
Nice to haves:
* P&L management.
* Evidence of making actionable recommendations that have delivered results.
* Strong commercial awareness & an understanding of levers to drive revenue.
