A well-established small animal practice is looking for a friendly and committed Registered Veterinary nurse to join their team! The practice is situated in a historic market town in Leicestershire, which is renowned for its vibrant market scene and picturesque surroundings.
Our client has 3 long established practices in the local area all within a short drive from each other, the practices see a varied and large case load, meaning all areas of your skills can be utilised.
Within the group they have a friendly and knowledgeable team of highly skilled professionals with a large team of Veterinary Surgeons who are certificate holders and have a range of special interests, including ultrasonography, cardiology, orthopaedics, medicine, and soft tissue surgery. They are supported by a skilled team which includes a Nurse Manager, Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Receptionists and Support Staff.
Our client is continually updating and investing in new equipment and resources to enable them to provide the best care, including fully equipped operating theatres, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, and in-house blood analysis machines.
The practice is nestled in the heart of Leicestershire, the town beckons with its charming market town ambiance and excellent transport connections. Boasting a bustling market scene, historic architecture, and scenic countryside vistas, it is a haven for both locals and tourists alike. It is well-connected by rail, with frequent services to major cities like London, Leicester, and Nottingham, making it an attractive hub for commuters. Additionally, it is just off the A6 and only a short drive away from Leister centre.
The Role:
• Full-Time
• 38 hours per week on a rota basis
• OOH's evening and weekend patient on call rota.
