Early Years Practitioner Location: Hackney, SEN School - Mainstream Nursery Class Start Date: ASAP Position: Early Years Practitioner (Full-Time) We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant team at a welcoming specialist school in the heart of Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact on the learning journey of young children. You will be based in the staff Nursery class, teaching and caring for children aged 3-24 months. Whilst this is based in a SEN school, the children in the Nursery class are mainstream children. * Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to assess and monitor children's progress.
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, fostering strong communication and trust.
* Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualifications: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification (or equivalent). Level 2 also considered.
* Experience: Proven experience working within an early years setting, ideally in a school or nursery environment.
* Skills: Excellent communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
* Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for early years education and child development.
* Commitment: Dedication to maintaining high standards of care and education.
