Blandford Community Mental Health team seeks a Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care delivery which considers people's safety, privacy, and dignity. You will provide interventions, assessments, and treatments, manage patients on a caseload and plan, implement and review health improvement programmes in a range of settings.
You will work within a supportive established integrated multi-disciplinary team made up of a Psychiatrist, Nurse prescriber, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Workers, OTs, Support Time Recovery Workers, and Psychologists.
Main duties of the job
The Community Mental Health Practitioner role is full-time Monday to Friday and based in Blandford, covering the surrounding villages. A valid driving licence and use of a car are required as you will be assessing and monitoring patients in their own homes and within other community settings.

Minimum Requirements
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
