Job Specification
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Description:

We are seeking a talented Technical CAD/Product Development Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop products using CAD software such as Auto Desk Inventor.
· Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
· Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and optimised for manufacturing.
· Ensure all design and technical work meets company standards and values.
Mandatory Requirements
· Strong alignment with Armac Martin’s core values.
· Proficiency in CAD software.
· Good knowledge of metals and machining processes.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Valued But Not Essential
· Proficiency in Auto Desk Inventor.
· Experience with Auto Desk Vault.
· Experience in door and cabinet hardware design.
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
· Experience with shop floor machining and manufacturing processes.
· Experience producing BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical documentation for manufacturing teams.
