IT Infrastructure and Platform Manager

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the management and optimisation of hybrid cloud platforms, ensuring uptime, performance, and scalability.
Promote an "automation-first" approach, employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), serverless computing, and AI-driven operations to streamline processes.
Manage incidents, problems, and changes in alignment with SLAs and KPIs to ensure reliable service delivery.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technical team, fostering a culture of innovation and ownership.
Develop and maintain robust data protection, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders on infrastructure projects, including migrations and upgrades, while maintaining rigorous change control processes.
Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.
Stay ahead of industry trends and develop roadmaps for next-generation infrastructure and AI-driven operations.Requirements
Proven experience managing critical IT infrastructures in high-availability, 24/7 environments.
Expertise in hybrid cloud technologies, IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and serverless architectures.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on creating a customer-centric culture.
Thorough understanding of networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and capacity management.
Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and security standards (e.g., NIST).
Prior experience in a service provider environment is advantageous but not essential.
Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker is highly desirable.Company Benefits
