What does the role involve?
As the Assistant Principal: Student Wellbeing, you will make a significant contribution to the Senior Leadership Team by leading and overseeing all aspects of pastoral care and behaviour for learning across the school. This includes developing and implementing a behaviour curriculum aligned with the school's ASPIRE values, promoting a culture of belonging, and ensuring high standards of conduct and engagement. The Assistant Principal of Student Wellbeing will also contribute to senior leadership, representing the Principal, managing middle leaders, and fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders, including parents and carers. The role requires a strategic focus on student wellbeing, behaviour for learning, and personal development.

This is a demanding yet very fulfilling post, providing excellent preparation for further promotion to Deputy Headship in due course. There will be high quality support and opportunities for further professional learning and development in the role.

TCT has grown out of Riddlesdown Collegiate, a large, outstanding (OFSTED, March 2023) secondary school in Croydon with a longstanding reputation for high standards and an exceptional education. Since 2015, our Trust has been growing and, today, we are a family of 8 schools with c.6000 pupils and 800+ employees. The planned addition of a further secondary school will bring our Trust to c.7000 pupils and c.1000 employees.
