Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Harlow Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and attainment in English and Maths Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students Excellent organisational and time management abilities Training in specific intervention programmes for English and Maths Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work in a school or learners home environment with SEN students Potential for remote teaching depending on circumstances All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
