Role Overview: In this crucial role, you’ll shape the future of our housing estate and communal functions by leading repairs and maintenance services, driving performance and ensuring essential compliance activities are undertaken. Working closely with contractors and inhouse teams it will be essential to deliver outstanding value and services to our customers. Grounds maintenance and cleaning services will be a priority, ensuring our estates are well-maintained and clean for our residents. This is a chance to make a genuine impact and be part of something that’s set to grow and evolve within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the repairs and maintenance services for our housing estates and communal areas ensuring performance targets are met.
* Develop strategies with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency.
* Oversee compliance checks, health and safety tasks, and estate inspections.
* Manage contractors and ensure performance aligns with regulatory standards.
* Handle complaints and customer satisfaction, ensuring improvements are made.
* Prioritise grounds maintenance and cleaning services to ensure our estates and grounds are well-maintained and clean.
* Lead and support your team, ensuring strong performance and development.
What You’ll Need:
* Proven experience managing estate services and maintenance contracts.
* Strong leadership skills and experience in improving team performance.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation and social housing sector requirements.
* Good financial management skills, including budget oversight.
* Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and other stakeholders
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
