A Primary School in the Colne (BB8) area are currently seeking talented individuals to join their team as an EYFS TA in October 2024. The school is a popular primary school at the heart of the local community, providing a rich and varied curriculum and wonderful learning and enrichment opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom.
About this role:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and enhancing the learning experience for children in EYFS. Your responsibilities will include:
* Provide support to the class teacher in planning, preparing and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Support individual and small group work, nurturing pupils and managing classroom behaviour to create a safe and positive learning environment.
* Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Requirements for this role:
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) desirable, but not mandatory.
* Passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
