Job Overview
Our Warehouse Managers deliver on our purpose by ensuring that our Project Managers and Installers in the field have everything they need, on-time, in-place, and ready to go for an exceptional customer experience. They manage the inventory and warehouse space, liaise with Marvin factories, and coordinate, load, and unload for the delivery of materials and product, all while ensuring that all internal processes are followed.
The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, hard-working, and above all, be motivated by and derive great personal satisfaction from helping people.
Highlights of your role
* Supervise delivery of all material coming in and leaving the warehouse. Coordinate ETAs for delivery and flagging any potentially late deliveries. Oversee procedures for loading and unloading of products. Help unload trucks and or help load deliveries.
* Make material runs for material shortages on active jobsites. Some local travel to pick up parts and supplies.
* Plan warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization. Organize the product in the warehouse and maintain the shipping/receiving area. Manage weekly and monthly counts on inventory ensuring accuracy for job site costs and available material in inventory.
* Manage vendors/service providers in relation to maintenance or projects within facility.
* Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations. Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and hazardous materials. Assist in building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, minor building repairs, cleaning, etc.
Compensation
$55,000-$70,000
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
* Experience in Excel and inventory management software, in addition to the minimum requirements listed below.
* Prior experience managing, supervising, or organizing a warehouse.
Also want to make sure you have
* Valid driver’s license with an acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record.
* Ability to work under minimal or no supervision.
* Ability to operate a desktop computer and related peripherals.
* Work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures at times.
* Able to lift, push/pull, and carry at 50lbs.
* Able to stand for at least 6 hours per day.
* Able to climb ladders, stairs, and kneel.
