Offer practical guidance and information on available resources, services, and support groups in the community. Assist in coordinating and accessing healthcare services, appointments, and referrals as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organisations to ensure holistic support for individuals affected by cancer. Coordinate events, workshops and outreach activities to reach out to those in need of support. Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions and services provided to people for monitoring and evaluation purposes. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in cancer care and support. Contribute to regular team meetings and share ideas for improvement and shaping workshops, events and community engagement sessions. Access to a vehicle as this role requires you to attend multiple venues, supporting groups and local forums. Flexible working is required sometimes to support weekend or evening events, this depends on when and where local events are taking place.
