Purpose
This role focuses on driving forward projects aimed at enhancing educational programs, introducing innovative learning technologies, and improving educational outcomes for children at HMYOI Feltham.
In collaboration with specialist area leads, the post holder will be responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and successful handover of development and innovation projects. The role will include identifying areas for enhancement, addressing gaps in provision, and driving improvements across contract areas. All initiatives will align with the priorities of HMYOI Feltham, the Justice sector, and the Shaw Trust Strategic Directive
The post holder will work closely with justice teams, to ensure effective and expedient project management, adherence to process, continual development, and operational assurance.
Essential:
You will have:
1. Relevant qualification or certification in project management or equivalent experience (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
2. Experience in the criminal justice sector, with a sound knowledge of the operation of prisons, probation and community rehabilitation services
3. Evidenced analytical and systematic approach to activity with ability to interpret data
4. Proficiency in all major Microsoft applications, ideally including Visio, Power BI or data analysis tools

You will be hybrid working between Feltham YOI and home. You will be working at Feltham YOI at least two days a week.
