White Label is representing a well-established engineering business in Wakefield involved in the design and build of technical systems for industrial use.
They’re on the lookout for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team and support project delivery from initial design through to test and commissioning.
If you’ve got a background in designing 230v/400v small light and power circuit for heaters, batt chargers, sockets, lights, etc – and you’re confident working to BS7671 and European electrical standards – this one’s for you.
My client is offering a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus:
Working hours: 37.5 hrs, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 12:00pm. There is flexibility to start earlier/later to suit you.
Holiday allowance: 187.5 hrs (25 days) plus 8 Annual Bank Holidays
Pension: Work Scheme Pension with 5% contribution from employee and 3% contribution from employer total 8% after a 3-month trial period.
Other benefits: 2x Salary for Death in Service Benefit after a 3-month trial period.
Duties of the Electrical Design Engineer
• Create electrical schematics, wiring schedules, and layout drawings
• Design small power and lighting (SLP) circuits – heaters, sockets, lights, battery chargers etc.
• Assist with generator control systems and associated containment layouts
• Perform cable and lighting calculations using software (e.g. Amtech, Dialux)...
