As Head of Modern Foreign Languages, you will shape an inspiring curriculum that fosters linguistic excellence, cultural appreciation, and global understanding. You’ll work within a dedicated team of language specialists to ensure our students develop both fluency and a passion for exploring diverse cultures and perspectives.
The ideal candidate is an experienced teacher with a deep knowledge of language pedagogy, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to nurturing inclusive, meaningful learning experiences. A proven ability to inspire both students and staff is essential. Ability to teach both French and Spanish at KS3 level would be essential, as is the ability to teach French to GCSE.

What you will need to succeed;
* Proven experience as a dynamic and effective educator, with leadership or department management experience preferred (but not essential).
* A commitment to WCSA’s values and the ability to promote cultural understanding and inclusivity.
* Relevant teaching qualifications as outlined in the JD and a passion for teaching languages.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
