You're an excel demon with experience in purchasing and supply chain. You've excellent attention detial. So much so, in fact, that you'll notice detail was spelt wrong in the last sentence. Our Purchasing and Supply Chain teams are looking for a couple of individuals to improve the way our Community Service Centres order stock. This is a new role, created to improve stock forecasting and orders, working closely with our regional centres to ensure Just-In-Time stock principles are achieved. With hybrid working on offer, this role is split between Bardon (Coalville), home-working and being out and about in our Community Service Centres. The role itself will include high usage of Excel, so knowledge and experience of manipulating data, interrogating data and providing reports is key for this role. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you'll look to continually improve what we do when it comes to stock forecasting, ordering and matching demand with supply as efficiently as possible. With experience in supply chain/purchasing, you'll be someone who is change-oriented, someone who isn't afraid of challenging the status quo in order to improve our processes. We've already mentioned you'll be an excel demon. This role offers an excellent chance for someone to take stock() of the way in which we order and handle stock across the estate, ultimately reducing the amount of old, dormant stock we hold within our Community Service Centres.
