We have an exciting opportunity for a Fixed Term Service Centre Supervisor to join Southampton City Council (SCC) in the Customer Experience Team.

If the answer is yes, we would like you to join us at Southampton City Council as a Team Supervisor in our Service Centre. Our Team Supervisors support their Team Leader to engage and inspire their team to deliver the best customer service to our internal and external customers.
We have a team supervisor vacancy on a 6-month fixed-term contract in our housing and adults team which supports housing repairs and adults. You will support your team leader to lead your team to deliver excellent customer service. You will achieve this through role modelling how you serve your customers, identifying areas to improve, sharing best practices, and creating a digital-first culture. Getting the detail right is crucial to our success, and you will ensure your team is clear, capable, and motivated to communicate well and take ownership to deliver excellent customer service.
About the role:
This role is currently being offered as a fixed-term contract with the potential to extend. The length of the fixed-term contract is 6 months. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.
The role involves coaching and quality checking to ensure we are getting things right first time and delivering quality outcomes for our customers. You will have shared line management responsibilities where required and deputise for your team leader in their absence.

Role Criteria:
* Experience of taking ownership of workloads and delivering tasks within service level agreements.
* Experience of line management would be beneficial.
* Strong customer focus when reviewing processes to improve efficiency and create clear customer journeys.
* Ability to balance workload and schedules with multiple priorities.
* Quick learner and competent with IT systems.
