As a marketing agency, we believe in the power of data when it comes to informing strategic marketing decisions. As a result, we’re growing our Research & Insights department and are on the lookout for a Junior Analyst to provide insights into marketing campaign performance, current market trends and the retail/leisure industry.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Enjoys gathering and analysing data to provide detailed and accurate reports and insights
* Has experience using mathematical and statistical tools/methods to provide reports and interpret data
* Is a reliable researcher, able to solve problems, test hypotheses and find solutions related to marketing and business performance
* Has 2+ years work experience using data transformation, analysis and visualisation tools and techniques to support and inform business decisions

What will the Junior Analyst at BWP do?
You’ll be responsible for gathering and analysing data to provide insights that will enable your colleagues to deliver great work for our agency and our clients. This will involve:
1. Research and data gathering
* Assisting with desk research on competitor/industry/consumer trends
* Working with external partners, and clients’ in-house data teams to gather and process required data
* Understanding and interpreting regulations and trends related to our industry
* Monitoring the competitor landscape, both for the agency and for our clients
2. Data analysis and insights
* Analysing data using advanced tools and statistical techniques, obtaining actionable and practical insights
* Providing support for strategic decision-making, for the agency and for clients
* Supporting teams with clients’ monthly/quarterly reporting, enriching the reports with deeper insights
3. Data reporting
* Maintaining the existing reporting dashboards in Power BI, and identifying any improvements that can be made
* Working closely with colleagues, identify any gaps in existing reporting/data
* Building new reports/dashboards to fill any new reporting needs
* Understanding agency and client KPIs, and supporting teams to report against them with actionable insight
What do I need to showcase in my CV to stand out?
We're looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence or similar and at least 2 years of work experience in an analyst role ideally within a marketing agency or relevant industry.
