Temporary two terms in the first instance – starting as soon as possible.
The Governors of Brynmenyn Primary School wish to appoint a motivated teacher with experience of teaching within upper Key Stage 2.
The appointed teacher will need to:
1. Demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
2. Achieve high standards through high expectations of progress and behaviour.
3. Have a good knowledge and understanding of Curriculum for Wales and demonstrate knowledge of leading an area of the curriculum.
4. Have a good knowledge and understanding of additional learning needs.
5. Be able to work in close partnership with all staff within the school setting.
6. Be dedicated to their own professional development and school improvement.
7. Make a contribution to the wider life of the school.
8. Display a positive attitude and identify with the values and ethos of the school.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people, or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
